Hey man, hows it goin?
Now tell me if it is a clicking noise you are hearing.....kinda like someone shooting a b.b at the top of the engine but very fast(every stroke). If it is then you do have some problems....your mechanic is a dunce. The oil pump is most likely getting weak as it did in mine and is therefore not able to pump oil all the way up to the valvetrain.....looks ok.if you do a quick check, most like your mechanic probably did...but the problem can only be seen by full engine dissasembly....The camshaft may look ok...but in fact the oil shortage has scored the surfaces of it...this in turn chews right through the rocker arms, wrecking them. they are not cheap...I am a mechanic and get them at 40% cost and for a new cam and rocker arms ran ME 220 bucks...that is when I said forget it and called it quits on the savage due to some reocurring problems I ran into with it.

Anyway,
Hope I havent frightened anyone:JUST PLEASE WATCH FOR THIS!!!!!!
JUSTIN
